John Vennari: A message and a tribute - Louie Verrecchio

SSPX Portland 2015 lrg
As some of you may know, John Vennari, who has been battling cancer, just posted the following message on Facebook:
“The doctors say I don’t have much time left. Please pray for me and for my Purgatory. Was blessed to receive Last Rites yesterday and the apostolic blessing.”
I am certain that readers of this space have been, and will continue to pray for John; offering Masses for him and his loved ones.
I have mixed feelings about this…
John Vennari is a good and faithful servant whose reward awaits him. Don’t get me wrong, I will honor his wishes to pray for his Purgatory indeed, but I cannot help but believe that Our Lord is sparing him (as He also spared Fr. Gruner) the agony of remaining in the Church Militant as the devastation so evident in our day continues unabated until at long last the Immaculate Heart of Mary triumphs.
For this, we can give thanks to God for His mercy.
That said, I am heartbroken for John’s wife and children. Having had the privilege of seeing them interact on a few occasions in person and then only briefly, it was perfectly clear just how close knit this model Catholic family truly is.
More selfishly, it breaks my heart for me. John Vennari, as many of you can also say, touched my life and made it better.

If Pope Benedict XVI would affirm Vatican Council II ( Feeneyite)....

Featured Image

If Pope Benedict affirms Vatican Council II ( Feeneyite) instead of Vatican Council II (Cushingite),would there be a schism from the Left? The conservatives would only have to stay put. They would be affirming all Church doctrine including Vatican Council II.

It is the liberals and Masons who will be perturbed. The  traditionalists would now be mainstream and the liberals would be out of the Church since they reject Vatican Council II. Vatican Council II ( Feeneyite) is the only rational interpretation possible.
Vatican Council II which was the main source for the liberal rebellion would now be orthodox.
Liberal cardinals had to use an irrational premise. They had to assume that hypothetical cases were not hypothetical. In this way the Council was a break with Tradition.
With Vatican Council II ( Feeneyite) they are unable to cite the text of the Council. They cannot say that LG 16 is a break with the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS-Feeneyite).That reasoning has ended with Vatican Council II (Feeneyite). They cannot quote Vatican Council II to support their liberal and non Catholic position.
So they will revolt. They will rebel.
The rank and file Catholic will affirm Vatican Council ( Feeneyism) since it is rational. They would appeal to their priests, bishops and cardinals to do the same. The Church would again be missionary. Ecclesiastics would ask Pope Francis to also affirm Vatican Council II without the false premise.

Could Pope Benedict trigger a schism from the Left ?

Could Pope Benedict trigger a schism from the Left ?

Featured ImageLast March Pope Benedict in public rejected the SSPX General Chapter Statement 2012  when in the Avvenire interview  he said that extra ecclesiam nulla salus (EENS) is no more like it was for the 16th century missionaries.I mentioned this in a blog post yesterday on the feast of the Chair of St. Peter.

Next month, March 2017, what if Pope Benedict affirms Vatican Council II ( Feeneyite) instead of Vatican Council II (Cushingite) ? Would there be a schism from the Left?

Gloria TV has reported that Cardinal Kurt Koch has claimed in L'Osservatore Romano that the doctrinal condemnations expressed by the Council of Trent against the Protestants  "have no more value today."

For the USCCB, German and English bishops among others there is salvation outside the Church.Pope Benedict instead with Vatican Council II (Feeneyite) would say that there is no known salvation outside the Church.

For Cardinal Koch and Cardinal Kasper the Lutherans are saved in their religion and do not need to convert. Reports say that they may be given the Eucharist. When Pope Benedict would be affirm Vatican Council II(Feeneyite)  he would not contradict the old ecclesiocentrism. It indicates Luther and all Protestants are on the way to Hell unless they become members of the Catholic Church. They are outside the Church.

Image result for Feast of St.Chair of Peter at Vatican Feb 22. PhotosBy choosing to interpret Vatican Council II with Feeneyism, the theology of the Council changes and it is no more 'a development of the dogma' EENS, with a false premise.Vatican Council II (Feeneyite) supports EENS as it was known to the magisterium in the 16th century.

Since Pope Benedict knows that ' the Faith loses its foundation' and 'any motivation for a future missionary commitment was removed' with EENS(Cushingite) and Vatican Council II ( Cushingite) what if he admits next month that he was wrong all along? Or what if someone else does it.

If he affirms the baptism of desire and being saved in invincible ignorance with Feeneyism, instead of Cushingism, he will contradict two important  theological papers of the International Theological Commmision. They are  'Cristianity and the World Religions' and 'The Hope of Salvation for Infants who die without Baptism'.They are both based on the Cushingite theology which he made magisterial.

Would  Pope Francis agree to interpret Judaism and Islam with the old ecclesiocentrism of the Church? Unlikely.

And yet this would be a doctrinal issue.

I affirm Vatican Council II and EENS ( Feeneyite) and so I express it  pastorally in real life.

Would they be willing to doctrinally affirm Vatican Council II and EENS ( Feeneyite) and express it pastorally? Unlikely.

How could cardinals and bishops in general accept false doctrine based on an irrational premise which creates the hermeneutic of rupture with Tradition ( EENS, Syllabus of Errors etc) ? They would choose to be honest and Catholic.

I mentioned in the blog post yesterday :

No one is telling Pope Francis and Pope Benedict to interpret Vatican Council II rationally.Don't mix up what is invisible as being visible and then make up wrong conclusions upon this wrong premise.
No one in the SSPX is asking Pope Benedict to affirm Catholic doctrine and interpret Vatican Council II and EENS rationally and without an irrational premise.Ecclesia Dei has obviously doctrinally rejected the SSPX General Chapter Statement 2012 while they keep parroting the lie about doctrine. They say that 'doctrine has not been changed'.
At  issue is doctrine.-Lionel Andrades
1.

Pope Benedict has negated the SSPX doctrinal position in the General Chapter Statement and still does not affirm EENS ( Feeneyite) : Chair of St.Peter error

http://eucharistandmission.blogspot.it/2017/02/pope-benedict-has-negated-sspx.html
2.
An Untruth: Cardinal Kurt Koch has claimed in L'Osservatore Romano that the doctrinal condemnations expressed by the Council of Trent against the Protestants - quote - "have no more value today." Gloria.tv wants to add that the texts of the Council of Trent are infallible and that there is no indication that the Protestants have accepted them otherwise they would now be Catholics.

Bible Readings at Holy Mass today mention Hell, fire and never ending suffering

Memorial of Saint Polycarp, Bishop and Martyr
Lectionary: 344

Reading 1 Sir 5:1-8

Rely not on your wealth;
say not: "I have the power."
Rely not on your strength
in following the desires of your heart.
Say not: "Who can prevail against me?"
or, "Who will subdue me for my deeds?"
for God will surely exact the punishment.
Say not: "I have sinned, yet what has befallen me?"
for the Most High bides his time.
Of forgiveness be not overconfident,
adding sin upon sin.
Say not: "Great is his mercy;
my many sins he will forgive."
For mercy and anger alike are with him;
upon the wicked alights his wrath.
Delay not your conversion to the LORD,
put it not off from day to day.
For suddenly his wrath flames forth;
at the time of vengeance you will be destroyed.
Rely not upon deceitful wealth,
for it will be no help on the day of wrath.

Responsorial Psalm Ps 1:1-2, 3, 4 and 6

R. (40:5a) Blessed are they who hope in the Lord.
Blessed the man who follows not
the counsel of the wicked
Nor walks in the way of sinners,
nor sits in the company of the insolent,
But delights in the law of the LORD
and meditates on his law day and night.
R. Blessed are they who hope in the Lord.
He is like a tree
planted near running water,
That yields its fruit in due season,
and whose leaves never fade.
Whatever he does, prospers.
R. Blessed are they who hope in the Lord.
Not so the wicked, not so;
they are like chaff which the wind drives away.
For the LORD watches over the way of the just,
but the way of the wicked vanishes.
R. Blessed are they who hope in the Lord.

Alleluia 1 Thes 2:13

R. Alleluia, alleluia.
Receive the word of God, not as the word of men,
but as it truly is, the word of God.
R. Alleluia, alleluia.

Gospel Mk 9:41-50

Jesus said to his disciples:
"Anyone who gives you a cup of water to drink
because you belong to Christ,
amen, I say to you, will surely not lose his reward.
"Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin,
it would be better for him if a great millstone
were put around his neck
and he were thrown into the sea.
If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off.
It is better for you to enter into life maimed
than with two hands to go into Gehenna,
into the unquenchable fire.
And if your foot causes you to sin, cut if off.
It is better for you to enter into life crippled
than with two feet to be thrown into Gehenna.
And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out.
Better for you to enter into the Kingdom of God with one eye
than with two eyes to be thrown into Gehenna,
where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.

"Everyone will be salted with fire.
Salt is good, but if salt becomes insipid,
with what will you restore its flavor?
Keep salt in yourselves and you will have peace with one another."

If your Parish Priest uses Cushingism please correct him

Sacerdote, Umano, Uomo, GiovaniYou've heard of being saved in invincible ignorance(I.I) and the baptism of desire(BOD)  and the case of Fr. Leonard  Feeney with reference to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus (EENS).
BOD and I.I were considered exceptions to the dogma EENS and this was approved by the Archbishop of Boston and the 1949 magisterium in Rome.
Now if BOD and I.I were explicit then they would be exceptions. If there was a personally known case of someone saved without the baptism of water in the Catholic Church then of course this is an exception.
But what if the BOD and I.I were invisible cases? What if there was no personally known case ?
If it did happen then it would be known to God and unknown to us human beings.
What if this is true? There are no known BOD and I.I cases in our reality.
Sacerdote, Europa, Medievale, Di Pietra
Then the entire theology of Vatican Council II changes.
We are back to exclusivist salvation in the Church. We are back to the past ecclesiocenterism on ecumenism, all need to be incorporated into the Church as members for salvation, the Eucharist indicates outside the Church there is no salvation, traditional mission based on Hell and the last four things,Social Reign of Christ the King based on EENS...
When it is assumed that BOD and I.I are physically visible in the present times, I call it Cushingism.
When we assume that the BOD and I.I are not physically visible, I call it Feeneyism.
These are two differenct theologies.
So if your Parish Priest uses Cushingism please correct him.
Cushingism is irrational, non traditional and heretical. It uses a false premise to create a non traditional conclusion.
Feeneyism is rational. We cannot see people in Heaven. We cannot physically see people saved with or without the baptism of water. So we cannot infer that there is a concrete exception to the dogma EENS.There is none on earth.
The saints and the founders of religious communities were Feeneyites.
If the bishops, cardinals and popes are Cushingites correct them.
This is not just a theoretical or academic issue.
If  the BOD and I.I are not exceptions to the dogma EENS ( and they are not) then Vatican Council II does not contradict Tradition. It does not contradict EENS, the Syllabus of Errors, the past ecclesiocenterism etc.Since Vatican Council II does not mention any visible for us exceptions.LG 16, LG 8, UR 3, NA 2 refer to invisible and hypothetical cases only.
