Cardinal Luiz Ladaria, CDF Prefect's objective error as President of the ITC must not be ignored : de -railed Vatican-SSPX agreement

Cardinal Luiz Ladaria s.j,the present Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith(CDF) has made a factual mistake, an objective error when he was Fr. Luiz Ladaria and President of the International Theological Commission.The mistake is there conspicously in the ITC Christianity and the World Religions.It was approved by Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger the then Prefect of the CDF.

He made the possibilities are known exceptions to EENS error,violating the Principle of Non Contradiction.

There was a choice.He could have interpreted possibilities, hypothetical cases as just being possibilities.Or he could have correctly assumed that they never were objective  and known people saved outside the Church.But with the assistance of Cardinal Ratzinger,he chose the irrational option.

He would later be rewarded. He replaced Cardinal Angelo Amato as Secretary of the CDF. Cardinal Amato in an interview in Avvenire  called for mission based on Vatican Council II. He specifically mentioned Ad Gentes 7 and Lumen Gentium 14.

As Secretary of the CDF, according to a report on Rorate Caeili, Ladaria de-railed the Vatican-SSPX reconciliation at the last minute during the pontificate of Pope Benedict XVI.

Probably he would  want the SSPX to support the Ratzinger-Ladaria interpretation of EENS ( with the premise) and Vatican Council II( with the irrational premise) and so there would not be a theological and doctrinal continuity with the past for the SSPX.-Lionel Andrades
