The pope has not been shown how Vatican Council II has picked up the mistake of the Letter of the Holy Office 1949 :this cannot be the work of the Holy Spirit

“Resist Not the Spirit”?

From the beginning of his pontificate, Francis made clear his resolve to advance the Conciliar agenda.

Lionel: He is referring to Vatican Council II interpreted not with Feeneyism as a theology, but with irrational and non traditional Cushingism. This is the theology used by John Vennari, Chris Ferrara, the SSPX and FSSP priests.

I interpret Vatican Council II with Feeneyism ( there are no known exceptions to EENS), so LG 16 refers to an invisible and not a visible case. It would not contradict the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus (EENS) according to the 16th century missionaries. For me this would be the interpretation of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit cannot suggest that Vatican Council II should be interpreted with an irrationality. Yet this is what the pope is doing. The traditionalists are not aware of it, or they are aware of it but do not want to contradict Archbishop Lefebvre who made the same mistake. They still also make the same mistake.

He sees the modernist updating from John XXIII’s Second Vatican Council as a work of the Holy Ghost to be embraced, not resisted.
Lionel:
The pope has not been shown how Vatican Council II has picked up the mistake of the Letter of the Holy Office 1949. The Letter assumed there is salvation outside the Church. So LG 8 for example is quoted by Cardinal Christopher Schonborn as saying there is salvation outside the Church.
However it is common sense that no one in the past could have physically seen someone saved without the baptism of water. So if there were no physical cases how could there be exceptions to EENS, how could there be salvation outside the Church? Secondly, in 2016 we do not know of any one saved outside the Church.

Vatican II ushered us into the evolutionary process of continuous aggiornamento, justified by the changing pastoral needs of the time. Francis implies we should be attentive to the alleged call of the spirit to even more revolutionary change, and more razing of Catholic bastions that block the way for renewal.
Thus we better understand Francis’ exaltation of Vatican II and his scolding of “hard-headed” Catholics. This oft-quoted speech took place on April 14, 2013, only a month after his election to the papacy.
“The Council was a beautiful work of the Holy Spirit,” said Francis. “Consider Pope John. He looked like a good parish priest; he was obedient to the Holy Spirit and he did it. But after 50 years, have we done everything the Holy Spirit told us in the Council? In the continuity of growth of the Church that was the Council? No. We celebrate this anniversary; we make a monument, as long as it does not bother us. We do not want to change. What is more, some people want to go back. This is hard-headedness. This is what we call, trying to tame the Holy Spirit, this is what we call becoming foolish and slow of heart."
Lionel:
Remember he is interpreting Vatican Council II, with all hypothetical cases being objectively known.
This was also the irrational thinking during Vatican Council II.
Many of the passages in Vatican Council II have been inserted based on known salvation outside the Church, which is physically not possible. There can never be known salvation outside the Church. This is human error and not the work of the Holy Spirit.

The Synod is a main engine in furthering this “work of the Spirit”.
Lionel:
For Cardinal Schonborn there is known salvation outside the Church. So he will say at the Press Conference, for the Synod next week, that if Vatican Council II can do away with the dogma EENS, with known salvation outside the Church, then why could not the Synod change other Church teachings?
__________________________

As I’ve noted in the past, the Synod has been established in order to advance the implementation of Vatican II throughout the world. That is how it was defined by Father Kenneth Boyack, a Paulist who had worked with the NCCB.
Lionel:
Yes Vatican Council II interpreted with Cushingism. This is a break with Tradition.
Vatican Council II interpreted with Feeneyism would support the dogma EENS, which is the work of the Holy Spirit. Vatican Council II interpreted with Cushingism, would be a break with the dogma EENs and the centuries old guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Likewise, Tad Szulc, in his biography of Pope John Paul II, explained that the Synod is a “permanent organ to implement the decisions of the Second Vatican Council.
Lionel:
John Vennari is not aware of Vatican Council II being interpreted with Feeneyism.

No one knows of any one saved outside the visible boundaries of the Catholic Church. This is an objective mistake made in the Letter of the Holy Office 1949

Cardinal Schonborn must be told that there are no known cases of someone saved outside the Church
