Lionel, where does the Magisterium make a distinction between "explicit" cases and non-explicit cases when it teaches that God can infuse the virtues outside of water baptism?

Lionel: 

When the Magisterium  suggests that God can infuse the virtues outside of water baptism we can accept this as a possibility known only to God, if there is such a case,  and leave it at that.

The moment this is brought in relation with EENS the problem begins.

Since someone infused with the virtues outside of the baptism of water refers to an invisible case for us.Invisible cases in the present times cannot be visible exceptions to all needing to formally enter the Church, all needing to have his 'name on the Parish Baptism Register' for salvation.

So if the link is made with EENS people are confused. Since it could be suggested that these cases are visible to us , they are personally known and so they are exceptions to EENS, they are allegedly examples of known salvation outside the Church. In other words there is salvation outside the Church.

This would be faulty reasoning.
