So far out

The Federation International Una Voce (FIUV) does not comment on the theology of Gavin D'Costa, the Catholic professor of theology at the University of Bristol. Gavin considers Vatican Council II and especially Nostra Aetate 2, an exception to extra ecclesiam nulla salus. The promotional video has once again been placed on the university  website with false propaganda on the Catholic Church and what it teaches. The FIUV has nothing to say, since it is promoting the same liberal theology. The FIUV and the University of Bristol's theology is based on hypothetical cases being visible in 2015.So both are saying that the Church is not necessary for salvation and all non Catholics are not on the way to Hell according to Vatican Council II. For FIUV and the University of Bristol ( and Oxford University where FIUV's Joseph Shaw teaches) NA 2, LG 16, LG 8 etc refer to explicit, seen in the flesh cases. They are inferred to be explicit exceptions mentioned in Vatican Council II to the centuries old 'rigorist interpretation' of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. This is also the position of Cardinal Vincent Nicols, the Catholic Archbishop of Westminister who approves the mandatum to teach theology, for D'Costa and Shaw, both modernists.
For me it is different. I attend the Traditional Latin Mass and the Novus Ordo Mass in Rome. I affirm the same centuries old ecclesiology of the Traditional Latin Mass, as before the Council of Trent. This is not the ecclesiology of the Latin Mass Societies all over the world today, approved by the Vatican.
Joseph Shaw may be a traditionalist but he is using the same liberal theology as the Letter of the Holy Office 1949, which has come in a big way into Vatican Council II.
So much of the confusion and liberal thinking of Vatican Council II comes from the unchecked error of the 1949 Letter of the Holy Office 1949 issued from Rome  to the Archbishop of Boston relative to Fr. Leonard Feeney.
When I read the text of Vatican Council II, though,  I find the Council traditional , with the old ecclesiology, since I avoid the wrong inferences. I do not assume invisible, theoretical cases are objective and visible.
Yet this was the 'trick'  at Vatican Council II.Liberals, Masons and others discerned the error and were aware that the majority of Catholics, were in ignorance as to what it was.Even Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre was not aware of it.Then they maintained the excommunication of Fr. Leonard Feeney even during Vatican Council II as if the priest was teaching something new and it was wrong. The conservatives at Vatican Council II must have been on the defensive.
Today there are so many liberals who are aware of the error  and are getting away with it since other Catholics  do have the courage to point it out. They do not want to lose their position  as theology professors etc.
Then the error is being maintained politically by the Jewish Left, with threats of using anti-Semitic, racist and  proselytism laws.Even rectors at Pontifical universities  and Vatican officials are allowing the error to persist. They say this is a 'delicate issue' and so they do not want to comment. So with their silence, they promote the Cushingism theology which is based on a lie.
The same lie will be taught by Joseph Shaw  at Oxford University. The same  lie  will be the official policy of the Latin Mass Society of England. It will be promoted by the FIUV. They have expressed it recently in a statement on the Revised Good Friday Prayer for the Conversion of the Jews. Then they are not expected to comment on the theology of the University of Bristol video.
The enemies of the Church have gone so far that now they paralyse the Catholic ecclesiastical hierarchy and Catholics in general.Catholics are expected to proclaim Jesus as not being necessary for the  salvation of the Jews. This is what the English bishops want. While the FIUV agrees on the necessity of Jesus for salvation, they will not affirm the necessity  of formal entry into the Catholic Church for salvation.
The English bishops are asking the pope now  to not even proclaim Jesus as being necessary, for the salvation of Jews and other non Catholics, and the liberal pope will probably agree to it.So far out have we come.

Pakistan: Muslim mob sets Christian TV station on fire

Pakistan: Muslim mob sets Christian TV station on fire

“The station management had denounced past threats and despite many requests, police and authorities did not provide the necessary security.” This was because they held a point of view similar to that of those who issued the threats.
Watch-live-Gawahi-Tv
“Karachi, masked men set Christian television station on fire,” by Jibran Khan, Asia News, November 25, 2015 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
Karachi (AsiaNews) – A group of masked men set fire to Christian broadcaster Gawahi TV Karachi overnight. The building collapsed due to the fire. According to employees, the arson attack occurred at 2.30am (local time), and the men were seen as they fled from the place, having set fire to the entire complex.
Gawahi television was established in February 2013 in a joint collaboration between Catholic and Protestant communities, to “spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people of all religions who live in Pakistan.” The channel broadcasts 24 hours a day, seven days a week. As reported by the television website, about 12 million people watched it on a regular basis.
The station management had denounced past threats and despite many requests, police and authroities [sic] did not provide the necessary security. Some members of the Catholic Church, including several priests, visited the scene of the fire, expressing disappointment at what happened. Fr. John Arif, of the Diocese of Karachi, said: “It was disheartening to see the entire building and all equipment burned. The channel was set up to communicate the word of God. There have been threats and now the matter is under investigation. We hope to soon see the channel on air again. We pray for peace and tolerance.”

Yemen: Muslims murder two converts from Islam to Christianity

Yemen: Muslims murder two converts from Islam to Christianity

A hadith depicts Muhammad saying: “Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him” (Bukhari 9.84.57). The death penalty for apostasy is part of Islamic law according to all the schools of Islamic jurisprudence.
This is still the position of all the schools of Islamic jurisprudence, both Sunni and Shi’ite. Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the most renowned and prominent Muslim cleric in the world, has stated: “The Muslim jurists are unanimous that apostates must be punished, yet they differ as to determining the kind of punishment to be inflicted upon them. The majority of them, including the four main schools of jurisprudence (Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi`i, and Hanbali) as well as the other four schools of jurisprudence (the four Shiite schools of Az-Zaidiyyah, Al-Ithna-`ashriyyah, Al-Ja`fariyyah, and Az-Zaheriyyah) agree that apostates must be executed.”
Qaradawi also once famously said: “If they had gotten rid of the apostasy punishment, Islam wouldn’t exist today.”
Al Qaeda Yemen
Two Converts from Islam Slain in Yemen,” Morning Star News, November 25, 2015:
ISTANBUL, Turkey (Morning Star News) – Two Christians in Yemen, both converts from Islam, have been ambushed and killed because of their faith, according to sources close to the victims.
In Taiz, a city with a pre-war population of 600,000 people in southwest Yemen, at least one member of Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) ambushed a Christian man in the city and shot him 15 to 20 times in early September. A second Christian was shot once in his home on Oct. 2, sources said. The second victim may have been killed by a Muslim extremist group or by members of his own family, they said.
Due to security threats in Yemen, a 99.9-percent Muslim country ruled by sharia (Islamic law) and embroiled in a civil war, the names of the victims and the sources cannot be released.
Both men were openly confessing Christ. A Yemeni friend of the second Christian said the convert was involved in evangelism, though he tried to keep his activities low key.
The friend said the second Christian killed, who was in his late 30s or early 40s, was not involved in any other activities that could have led to his death. Others who knew the convert from Islam said Muslims were harassing and threatening him.
“A lot of people didn’t like that he was a convert,” the friend said. “I think it is because of his faith; there is no other reason [to kill him].”
Authorities have made no arrests in the killing. Since March of this year, when civil war started, Yemen has become a dysfunctional, lawless state where “people are killed for numerous reasons,” the friend said. A teenage convert from Islam, for example, was killed recently when an errant, shoulder-fired rocket known as an RPG exploded near him.
The most recent shooting victim is survived by a wife and a teenage son. It was unclear how the two were coping, but the victim’s friend said the deaths have alarmed the convert community in Taiz. In addition to the Muslim harassment, the victim’s house had also been set on fire at least once.
“The people that knew him are afraid, especially because he is the second one,” the friend said. “People that knew him well, they’re afraid, they’re shocked; they know that he was killed for his faith. But people that don’t, many of them think he was killed in the general unrest.”
The friend said the second Christian convert’s family likely felt publically shamed by his decision to follow Christ. Family influence in Yemen cannot be overstated, he said. The family structure in Yemen and in much of the Middle East works to enforce societal norms, especially adherence to Islam….
A source close to the Christian slain first said a member of AQAP was responsible.
“For six months he had been receiving direct threats from known AQAP members that he knew personally,” the source said. “There is no reason to believe that his family was involved in the killing. His family knew of his faith for more than a decade, and although it created tensions, they never threatened his life.”…http://www.jihadwatch.org/2015/11/yemen-muslims-murder-two-converts-from-islam-to-christianity

Research: Islam really is the world’s most violent religion

Research: Islam really is the world’s most violent religion

Quran and gun
Together with a number of research assistants, the Danish linguist Tina Magaard spent three years examining the texts of the ten largest religions. The purpose was to investigate whether any of the religions incite violence.
The conclusion was clear: “The texts of Islam are clearly distinct from the other religions texts as they, to a higher degree, call for violence and aggression against followers of other faiths. There are also direct incitements to terror. … Moreover, in the Qur’an there are hundreds of invitations to fight against people of other faiths.”
The verses are in black and white and without mitigating context. One of the verses that deal with non-Muslims is: “So when you meet those who disbelieve, strike their necks until you have inflicted slaughter upon them.” (Qur’an 47: 4).
Violent in practice
Islam is not only the world’s most violent religion in writing. A huge study, based on in-depth interviews with 45,000 subjects, confirms that it is also the world’s most violent religion in practice.
The study shows that Islam is the only religion in the world in which people become more violent, the stronger they believe in their religion.
Terror
The fact that Islam is the world’s most violent religion is most likely the reason why Muslims since September 11, 2001, have committed more than 27,000 deadly terrorist attacks in the name of Islam. This corresponds to approximately 2,000 a year, or five a day.
Another fact is that the number of Muslims in the Western world is increasing dramatically and that they are becoming still more religious: 75 percent of Muslims inside Europe think that the texts of the world’s most violent religion must be taken literally.
This is probably why 80 percent of young Turks in Holland see “nothing wrong” with waging Jihad against non-Muslims. And that 27 percent of all young French and 14 percent of all young British under 25 sympathize with the genocidal terror organisation Islamic State. This includes most probably the vast majority of young Muslims in these two countries.
Europe is about to face its greatest challenge ever.

FIUV clarification needed

FIUV International Federation Una VoceFormer President of the Federation, Colonel James Bogle, with Archbishop Pozzo
Federation International Una Voce (FIUV) clarification needed
When we proclaim the Good News we say Jesus Died and is Risen to save all who believe in Him and live the teachings of the Gospel in the Catholic Church, the only Church Jesus founded outside of which there is no salvation.Salvation is open to all in potential but to receive this salvation all need to formally enter the Church (Dominus Iesus 20), 'all' need 'faith and baptism'(AG7 , LG 14).
This was the original proclamation of the Church.Catholics attended the Greek and Latin Mass with this proclamation. It was the proclamation of the Early Church, the Early Catholics, the first Christian communities.
Now the Federation International Una Voce (FIUV) has issued a statement proclaiming the necessity of believing in Jesus only for salvation.1 They imply that for salvation it is necessary to believe in Jesus with or without formal membership in the Catholic Church which He founded. It is Jesus with also the Lutheran, Anglican, Baptist, Pentecostal, Orthodox Christian and other Christian communities. It is Jesus without the Catholic Church.
This is heresy.
In a previous blog post 2  I have cited the Church documents it violates. This is a false ecumenism.
The liberal professor of theology at Oxford University Joseph Shaw, has accepted the new theology of Pope Pius XII.So for the FIUV Shaw will not affirm that there is exclusive salvation in only the Catholic Church and this was the original theology of the traditional Latin Mass.
Former presidents meet Cardinal RatzingerThe popes since Pius XII, by default, ignorance, or lack of courage have chosen the new theology, Cushingism. They have rejected traditional Feeneyism since the Jewish Left objects. The average Catholic does not know theology and is not aware that he or she is accepting theology, when they use Cushingism, which comes to us officially from Pope Pius XII's silence in the Boston Case.
Feeneyism says there are no known exceptions to the dogma EENS. There cannot be any known exception for us human beings, since exceptions are not visible and known. All need to formally enter the Church for salvation and the baptism of desire and blood , have no connection with the dogma on exclusive salvation in the Church, since they are invisible cases; zero cases in our reality, as the apologist John Martignoni puts it.
Image result for Archbishop Thomas E. GullicksonHe is supported by Archbishop Thomas E. Gullickson, the U.S Nuncio to the Ukraine  and  Fr. S. Visintin, the present Dean of Theology at the Benedictine University of San Anselm, in Rome.
Now we have the FIUV defending the traditional Latin Mass only as a rite, a ritual, and without the old theology. This is acceptable to Pope Francis and the modernist bishops in England- but it is also acceptable to Cardinal Raymond Burke and Bishop Athanasius Schneider.
Joseph Shaw for the Latin Mass Society in England has posted on his blog LMS Chairman photographs of the English bishops offering the Latin Mass.It is offering Holy Mass with a heretical theology.
Similarly when Cardinal Raymond Burke offers the pontifical Latin Mass it is with  Cushingism. This is the non traditional theology based on a false premise ( dead-saved in Heaven are visible and known on earth) and inference ( these visible-dead in Heaven are explicit exceptions to traditional EENS, so all do not need to convert into the Church in the present times). This is the stuff of fantasy. This theology is based on fantasy.
Similarly when Bishop Athanasius Schneider offers the Traditional Latin Mass, it is with this same fantasy theology. He uses the same irrational premise and inference to discard the old ecclesiology and accept the modernist one.
I know this is an oversight on their part. It is an innocent mistake. Of course there is no ill will intended.May be in vague ways they know something was wrong but could not pin it down precisely to the cause i.e the irrational premise and inference.
The FIUV needs to clarify these points:-
1. They need to explain the two theologies, Cushingism and Feeneyism and clear up for us  which of the two they support and which they reject.
2.  If hopefully , they choose Feeneyism, they will have to re-interpret Vatican Council II.  Their position on LG 16, LG 8, UR 3, NA 2 etc with reference to the dogma EENS changes. Since with Feeneyism LG 16 etc refer to invisible cases and not visible persons. They have to make the explicit-implicit ,objective-hypothetical distinction.
3. They could clarify their position on the Revised Good Friday Prayer for the Conversion of the Jews, if they have chosen Feeneyism and have rejected Cushingism.
4. Also the second part of the Letter of the Holy Office 1949 has to be considered irrational and only the first part is acceptable.
5. With Feeneyism there would be no change in the Catholic Church's old ecclesiology on ecumenism and inter-religious dialogue. They must say this in a statement.3

The Prayer for the Jews used in the Extraordinary Form Good Friday Liturgy continues to be a source of comment and misunderstanding, and the FIUV wishes to respond as follows.

Statement by the President of the FIUV, Felipe Alanís Suárez

It was to avoid misunderstandings of the Prayer for the Jews that Pope Benedict XVI composed the 2008 version of the prayer, which is clearly based on what is essential to Christianity: the acceptance of Christ as the saviour of the whole world, and the desire that all persons be saved. Jews are mentioned because of their special role in the history of salvation, and the special concern we must have for our ‘elder brothers’ (as Pope St John Paul II called them). The prayer looks forward to the incorporation of the Jewish people, of which Our Lord Jesus Christ and His first disciples were all members, in the salvation won for the human race by Christ on the Cross, a reconciliation which, as St Paul teaches, will be fulfilled only towards the end of history.

The FIUV is convinced that any possible continuing misunderstanding regarding the Good Friday Prayer for the Jews can be resolved in the context of the Magisterium of the Church, without veiling the treasures of our Faith.

We, as faithful attached to the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite, acknowledge that to ask of our Lord for the grace of sharing with all our brothers the joy of salvation in Jesus Christ, is an act of humility and selfless love, and a spiritual work of mercy.

The FIUV entirely rejects all hatred and hostility towards the Jewish people, and all forms of unjust discrimination.
