Feeneyism by Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feeneyism
Catholics traditionally believe that sacramental baptism ("baptism of water") is the only way to be properly baptized.
Now Wikipedia is going to imply that the baptism of desire(BOD) and blood (BOB) are explicit and so are exceptions to traditional extra ecclesiam nulla salus i.e defacto, objective exceptions to all needing sacramental baptism; the baptism of water.
In addition, "the Church has always held the firm conviction that those who suffer death for the sake of the faith without having received Baptism are baptized by their death for and with Christ. This Baptism of blood, like the desire for Baptism, brings about the fruits of Baptism without being a sacrament."
Wikipedia makes the irrational connection. It assumes that BOD and BOB are explicit, objective, visible and so an exception to all needing sacramental baptism.
Fr. Leonard Feeney
Fr. Feeney was a Roman Catholic priest and a member of the Jesuits. The Jesuit order dismissed Fr. Feeney in 1949 on account of disobedience,
Since there was a connection with BOB/BOD and extra ecclesiam nulla salus the Jesuits dismissed him? BOD and BOB are explicit for the Jesuits and Wikipedia .They are explicit and objective. So they are exceptions to Feeneyism!
and on 4 February 1953 the Holy Office (now the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith) declared him excommunicated "on account of grave disobedience to Church Authority, being unmoved by repeated warnings".
The Holy Office ( CDF) assumed that BOD and BOB were objective and visible in the flesh. So they were exceptions, objectively to Feeneyism? They could see the dead-saved in Heaven! They (CDF officials) came back to earth to tell us that there were cases in Heaven without the baptism of water?
Is all this not irrational ? How could BOD and BOB be exceptions for us human beings ?
