CMTV and the Archdiocese of Detroit

ChurchMilitant.TV

Church Militant TV( CMTV) must tell the Archdiocese of Detroit that they accept being saved in invincible ignorance(I.I) and the baptism of desire (BOD) according to Ad Gentes 7 and Lumen Gentium 14.

ORTHODOX PASSAGES
Therefore, all must be converted to Him, made known by the Church's preaching, and all must be incorporated into Him by baptism and into the Church which is His body. For Christ Himself "by stressing in express language the necessity of faith and baptism (cf. Mark 16:16; John 3:5), at the same time confirmed the necessity of the Church, into which men enter by baptism, as by a door.-Ad Gentes 7, Vatican Council II.
Basing itself upon Sacred Scripture and Tradition, it teaches that the Church, now sojourning on earth as an exile, is necessary for salvation. Christ, present to us in His Body, which is the Church, is the one Mediator and the unique way of salvation. In explicit terms He Himself affirmed the necessity of faith and baptism and thereby affirmed also the necessity of the Church, for through baptism as through a door men enter the Church.- Lumen Gentium 14, Vatican Council II

They must also tell the Archdiocese that they accept AG 7 and LG 14 which says all need faith and baptism for salvation (see above).
They must clarify that they accept being saved in inculpable ignorance and the baptism of desire.
Campus Ministry
CUSHING ADDITIONS.
Therefore those men cannot be saved, who though aware that God, through Jesus Christ founded the Church as something necessary, still do not wish to enter into it, or to persevere in it." Therefore though God in ways known to Himself can lead those inculpably ignorant of the Gospel to find that faith without which it is impossible to please Him -Ad Gentes 7
Catechumens who, moved by the Holy Spirit, seek with explicit intention to be incorporated into the Church are by that very intention joined with her. With love and solicitude Mother Church already embraces them as her own.-Lumen Gentium 14.

The text of LG 14 and AG 7 in the Cushing additions do not state that these cases are personally known to us  or can be known to us in the present times. This is important. Since if they are not known to us they cannot be exceptions to the orthodox passages in AG 7 and LG 14  or the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.
So CMTV can assume that all these persons saved in I.I or BOD are saved with the baptism of water in the Catholic Church. These are hypothetical cases for us so we are referring to something  theoretical and which can only be real for God.
CMTV would not be denying the traditional dogma on salvation and neither are they denying being saved in I.I and the BOD, or, seeds of the Word (AG 11), imperfect communion with the Church (UR 3),a ray of that Truth (NA 2),elements of sanctification and truth(LG 8)etc.If they refer to salvation they refer to persons saved with also the baptism of water in the Catholic Church.
Vatican Council II is in perfect agreement with Cantate Dominio, Council of Florence 1441, on extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

Whosoever, therefore, knowing that the Catholic Church was made necessary by Christ, would refuse to enter or to remain in it, could not be saved.-Lumen Gentium 14

Who 'knows' or 'does not know' is known only to God. So this passage is not exception to the rigorist interpretation of the dogma.
If the Archdiocese of Detroit wants to consider I.I and BOD  as not being followed with the baptism of water in the Catholic Church, fine, but this is not a dogma of the Catholic Church. The de fide teaching says all need the baptism of water in the Catholic Church.
1.So LG 16,LG 8,UR 3,NA 2, AG 11 etc are not being denied.
2.Neither is AG 7 and LG 14 being denied.
3. Neither is the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus, the Syllabus of Errors and the teaching on the Social Reign of Jesus Christ not being denied. The dogma is the moral basis for proclaiming the traditional teaching on religious liberty.
Ad Gentes 7 and Nostra Aetate agree with the traditional teaching of CMTV, SSPX etc.
CMTV is affirming the teachings of the Magisteriuim according to magisterial documents, including Vatican Council II. However unlike members of the contemporary magisterium, they are not using an irrational premise ( salvation in Heaven is physically visible to us in 2015) and an irrational inference( these explicit  cases are exceptions to the traditional interpretation of the dogma with its exclusivist ecclesiology) or an irrational and non traditional conclusion ( so Vatican Council II becomes a break with the rigorist interpretation of the dogma on exclusive salvation in the Catholic Church.)
This is magisterial and not my personal view. This is the universal teaching of the Catholic Church before and after Vatican Council II. It is that of CMTV after they discern.
Interfaith
Ask the Archbishop of Detroit to review their religious education program for school children. They need to clarify Catholic doctrine. There cannot be a theology taught to Catholic school children based on human beings having the ability in general, to see the dead in Heaven in the present times. Children cannot be taught that we have the ability to know who in the present times in Detroit will be saved without 'faith and baptism'(AG 7).
