The SSPX would also be approving an irrationality which comes from 1949. Instead of correcting the error and then signing the papers asked of them by the Vatican, they are going ahead as if they are unaware that Pius XII made an objective error.
The irrational new doctrine of- the dead-saved-are visible-on-earth-and-so-are-exceptions to EENS is the basis for the New Theology which the Vatican is still promoting.It is the foundation of the New Theology.
Pope Francis is not going to discuss the Pius XII error since it would mean changing Church doctrine and teachings in so many areas. He would be admitting that Vatican Councl II supports the old ecclesiology and is Feeneyite.
The enemies of the Church would want Pope Francis at this autumn meeting ( feria quarta) to restict the evangelising of the Medugorje visionaries and not discuss the Pius XII factual error.
If Pope Francis admits that Pius XII made an error then Vatican Councl II is traditional on other religions, ecumenism and religious liberty. This would not be acceptable to cardinals Kaspar and Koch and many disssenting cardinals and bishops.They use Vatican Council II ( with the irrational premise and inference) to support their dissent and heresy.
The feria quarta meeting may place restrictions on the public witness of the Medugorje visionaries but pilgrims will be allowed to visit the Medugorje church.However if tomorrow Our Lady at Medugorje says Pius XII made an objective error- the apparition site could be closed down.Presently Our Lady at Medugorje is in step with the Magisterium and avoids any doctrinal controversy.
She is also in step with the traditionalists like the SSPX who use Pius XII's irrational premise and inference, to interpret Vatican Council II( which they reject) and the Letter of the Holy Office 1949 ( which they approve).
In the initial days of the Medugorje apparitions the local bishop was a supporter of the apparitions. When the visionaries asked Our Lady about the transfer of two priests by the bishop, Our Lady supported the priests. Since then the bishop opposed the apparitions.
