Franciscans of the Immaculate issue is taking on an unpleasant turn

dedicazioneThe Franciscans of the Immaculate issue is taking on an unpleasant turn. The property of the religious community is owned by a lay Association in which Fr.Stefano Manelli F.I, the founder, has confidence. The Association coordinated by relatives of Fr.Stefano, good Catholics , own the property in which churches and housing of the Friars, are located. This is the parish church, Santa Maria di Nazareth. Here live the Friars who offer the Novus Ordo Mass at Boccea, Rome.I often attend Mass in Italian here.
Immagine correlataThe Association leadership  is now asserting itself,it is learnt, and the Franciscans are not secure. They could be asked to move out.
There is concern that the property which housed the old philosophy seminary at Boccea-Casalotti,which Pope Francis closed down, would have to be vacated and handed over to the Association. The building which now houses some Friars and lay persons, along with the old church, could have to be handed over.
There is talk of a new road being built which would lead to the new church, recently dedicated by the bishop and which is on diocese property.Since the road which leads to the central seminary building is owned by the lay Association.
Immagine correlataFr.Giuseppe Giorni F.I, the Parish Priest at the church Santa Maria di Nazareth, said they do not know about the future and a new road could be built.
Will there be a reconciliation after the meeting of superiors next month? He said he did know not.
These are all good Catholics and it seems there is a hardening of heart on all sides.
The Franciscans of the Immaculate magazines Il Settimanale di Padre Pio, Christ to the World and a magazine for the monastic life, which I would read regularly are no more there. In fact after Mass there are no magazines available.
In  October some of the young Friars living at this Casalotti, Boccea centre will attend philosophy classes at the pontifical universities in Rome.

in October some of the young Friars living at this Casalotti, Boccea centre will attend philosophy classes at the pontifical universities in Rome. They will have to accept the new ecclesiology, the new theology which is based on alleged exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. These exceptions are not visible and known to them but they have to be politically accepted as being visible and known exceptions to the centuries old interpretation of extra ecclesiam nulla salus. So with this irrationality, a strange premise and inference, the ecclesiology of the Traditional Latin Mass is changed.
So these young Friars, will have to interpret Vatican Council II as a break with the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. They will do it by using the dead-saved are visible theory( false premise). This is not Catholic. It is also heretical.
Since Fr.Stefano Mannelli does not accept this new innovated ecclesiology, he is no more the Minister General of the community he founded.
He offers the old Mass with the old ecclesiology and without any dead-man-walking-without-baptism theory.
Church doctrine is the basis of the present disunity in the community and the meeting of Superiors next month , under the new Commissar, is not expected to address it for political reasons.
The same position can be seen with the Society of St.Pius X (SSPX).Pope Francis is willing to accept the SSPX with canonical status as long as they accept that Vatican Council II is a break with the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. In other words, LG 16, LG 8, UR 3,NA 2 etc refer to known and visible cases, for them to be exceptions to the dogma on exclusive salvation in the Catholic Church. The SSPX accepts this error unknowingly. Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre interpreted LG 16 etc as being explicit and so an exception to the dogma. This is how Bishop Athanasius Schneider interprets Vatican Council II with canonical status.
Fr.Sabino Ardito SDB, the new commissar of the community is not likely to say that Vatican Council II, without the irrational premise and inference, is in agreement with the Feeneyite version of the dogma and the old ecclesiology. He would be willing to dialogue with Fr.Stefano Manelli only if he accepted the new theology, the new ecclesiology.
Pope Francis is permitting the Traditional Latin Mass as long as the ecclesiology is based on Vatican Council II having explicit exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.-Lionel Andrades
