Cardinal Gerhard Muller's doctrinal error was placed on the Vatican website and found on Edward Pentin's webpage. The editors at the National Catholic Register approved it

Cardinal Gerhard Muller's doctrinal error was put on Edward Pentin and the Vatican websites. The editorial staff  at the National Catholic Register gave the green light.

Let's excuse them all and believe  that they  do not know what was really said, in the interview with Cardinal Gerhard Muller, they do not have a clue. May be the cardinal himself did not know.
I would ask them to start with the TWO QUESTIONS I keep asking Catholics. The two questions were easy for Archbishop Thomas E.Gullickson, the American apologist John Martignoni   the Benedictine priest , Fr.P. Stefano Visintin OSB, Dean of the Faculty of Theology at the Pontifical University St.Anselm and many priests in Rome, who offer the Novus Ordo Mass. They agree they cannot see in Rome any  exceptions to the Feeneyite version of extra ecclesiam nulla salus. So these are two rational questions for the NCR staff.
TWO QUESTIONS
1) Do we personally know the dead now saved in invincible ignorance, a good conscience (LG 16) etc,can we see them, are they physically visible to us in 2015 ?
2) Since we do not know any of these cases, in real life, they are not visible to us, there are no known exceptions to the literal interpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus, or Ad Gentes 7 which states 'all' need 'faith and baptism' for salvation ?

The Archbishop, priests and apologist agree with me.They cannot see ghosts. So there are  no real-life exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. The dogma tells us all need to be formal members of the Catholic Church. All need 'faith and baptism'(AG 7) to avoid the fires of Hell. All means all.
There are no known exceptions to the traditional interpretation of the dogma. This is common sense. So how did the National Catholic Register editors let Cardinal Gerhard Muller  infer that  there are some exceptions? How could he suggest that in Vatican Council II there are exceptions to the dogma ?. We do not know of any exception in the present times and the text of Vatican Council II does not say there are any.
Cardinal Muller in the interview with the National Catholic Register  reasons :' Lumen Gentium 14 says: “Whosoever, therefore, knowing that the Catholic Church was made necessary by Christ, would refuse to enter or to remain in it, could not be saved..' He 'who is aware' .
He who is aware or in inculpable ignorance refer to persons  known only to God.Is he saying these are known cases?
Cardinal Muller tells Edward Pentin 'But we cannot say that those who are inculpably ignorant of this truth are necessarily condemned for that reason.'
Is he telling us that those who are inculpably ignorant of this truth are physically visible to us on earth? He is. Otherwise why would he mention it? He refers to real cases. They are known in the present times .They will be saved (or are saved) without the baptism of water. The National Catholic Register agrees.
Every person has the right to act according to his or her own conscience.
More of the same. Someone saved with a good conscience (LG 16) and in inculpable ignorance (LG 16) are visible in the flesh. The Staff Writers and Editors at the National Catholic Register agree.
Cardinal Muller says 'We need a theological hermeneutic for an authentic interpretation'.
The cardinal first assumes that the dead-saved with the baptism of desire or in invincible ignorance, and who are now in Heaven are physically visible to the naked eye ( false proposition). He then reasons that these visible-dead ghosts are explicit exceptions to Fr.Leonard Feeney and the traditional interpretation of the dogma ( false conclusion). So for him there is known salvation outside the Catholic Church. All do not need to defacto become formal members of the Church. This is the basis of the Vatican's 'new theology'.It's foundation is an irrational premise. It is also a break with Tradition; the Syllabus of Errors, the Catechism of Pope Pius XII etc. It is expressed with papal approval, in two theological papers of the International Theological Commission. The error is there in the Balmand Declaration and the Catechism of the Catholic Church (1257).It has weakened proclamation in Redemptoris Missio and Dominus Iesus.

Cardinal Gerhard Muller continues 'but interpretation does not change the content of the teaching.'
He indirectly answers the two questions in this interview by assuming we can physically see the dead in Heaven and they are exceptions to the centuries old interpretation of the dogma.Obviously content has changed with this irrationality.Any Church document interpreted with an irrational premise will have content changed.
For the Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith 'the perspective is different between then and now'.
Yes and the magisterium was correct either before or after 1949. At one time they were wrong.Cardinal Muller, like the Marchetti Letter uses a false premise with a false conclusion to change the meaning of a defined  dogma. He has answered the two questions irrationally and the NCR has approved it.

Still no denial from Edward Pentin

Patrick Archbold writes on extra ecclesiam nulla salus, while rejecting the dogma and so Dan Burke and Tom Weiner allow him to keep his job at the NCR/EWTN

Vatican Council II is Feeneyite. One could say, with reference to salvation and the dogma, it is 'absolutist'.

Patrick Archbold who do you know who is saved outside the Catholic Church over the last five years?

Archbishop Thomas Gullickson, John Martigioni and Fr.Rev. Fr.P. Stefano Visintin OSB, Dean of the Faculty of Theology at the Pontifical University St.Anselm agree with me : there are no visible exceptions.

Fr.Marco Hausmann FSSP confirms: there are no physically visible cases of the baptism of desire

Fr.Cekada-no evidence

Edward Pentin refuses to touch this subject again, since he probably got the usual threats from the Left : Rorate Caeili pulls down comments
