The two popes like Fr.Nicholas Gruner interpreted the Letter of the Holy Office 1949, on salvation, with an irrationality

The two popes like Fr.Nicholas Gruner interpreted the Letter of the Holy Office 1949, on salvation, with an irrationality.

So Vatican Council II does not contradiict itself. The text does not contradict itself unless you infer that what is INVISIBLE for us is VISIBLE

So Vatican Council II does not contradiict itself. The text does not contradict itself unless you infer that what is INVISIBLE for us is VISIBLE

  1. I think it inclines millions of people toward irrational inference, many more than would make the correct inference.

    Lionel:
I do not mean it in this vague way.

    Analyse Ad Gentes 7.
Therefore, all must be converted to Him, made known by the Church's preaching, and all must be incorporated into Him by baptism and into the Church which is His body. For Christ Himself "by stressing in express language the necessity of faith and baptism (cf. Mark 16:16; John 3:5), at the same time confirmed the necessity of the Church, into which men enter by baptism, as by a door. -Ad Gentes 7,Vatican Council II
In this passage above Ad Gentes 7,Vatican Council II is saying all need to enter the Church for salvation. Extra ecclesiam nulla salus.
Then (AG 7) it could be inferred wrongly that there are known exceptions. This would be true if it is assumed that the dead- saved in invincible ignorance are visible on earth.

Therefore though God in ways known to Himself can lead those inculpably ignorant of the Gospel to find that faith without which it is impossible to please Him (Heb. 11:6)...

We know that those saved in invincible ignorance are not visible to us on earth. These INVISIBLE cases are not an exception to Ad Gentes 7, when it states earlier, that all need 'faith and baptism'.

So Vatican Council II does not contradiict itself. The text does not contradict itself unless you infer that what is INVISIBLE for us is VISIBLE. This would be irrational. Yet this is the precise irrational inference that very one is using.

LG 16 ( invincible ignorance) and LG 8 ( elements of sanctification and truth) are considered to be VISIBLE exceptions to Ad Gentes 7 ( all need faith and baptism) and the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.-Lionel Andrades

Traditionalists reject Vatican Council II with heresy and accept the Letter of the Holy Office with heresy. They do not see how the two are connected.

  • do wonder if the Good Lord is looking at the majority of professed Catholics worshipping with the mulititude of spirits of VII

  •
    Lionel:
The majoirty of Catholics are interpreting Vatican Council II with a false premise and so the result is heretical.
The majority of Catholilcs are interpreting the Letter of the Holy Office 1949 also with that same irrational inference. The result is heresy.

The traditionalists reject Vatican Council II with the heresy and they accept the Letter of the Holy Office with the heresy. And they do not see how the two are connected.

Modern accounts of Hell match St.Teresa of Avila : worms and reptiles

A doctor names Maurice Rawlings, who specialized in cardiovascular diseases at the Diagnostic Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee, logged that and a number of similar cases- arguing that all was not glimmering and bliss and ligh after death.

"As I stood near that enormous pit of fire, no immediater attackers seemed to be threathening, so this gave me a moment to take in my curroundings," recalled anotfher fellow who passed and retruned, Bill Wiese, whose experience occurred ( at three a.m.) in 1998 and who wrote a book about it.
"It was raining fire and burning rock, similar to the way lava falls from the sky when a volcano explodes. The smoke from the flames was very thick, allowing visibility for only a short distance, but what I could see was horrifying. I saw many people reaching out of the pit of fire, desperately trying to claw their way out.But there was no escape. I turned my head, and I noticed that I was standing in the middle of a cave, the wall wrapped around me and led to the vast expanse of the pit.

"As I looked at the walls, I saw that they were covered with thousands of hideous creatures. These demonic creatures were all sizes and shapes. Some of them had four legs and were the size of bears. Others stood upright and were about the size of gorillas. They were all terribly grotesque. It looked as though their flesh had been decomposing and all their limbs were twisted and out of proportion. Some displayed immense, long arms or abnormally large feet. They seemed to be the living dead. There were also gigantic rats and huge spiders at least three feet high. I also saw snakes and worms, ranging from small to enormously large, I was petrified and could not believe my eyes."

St.Teresa of Avila's description of Hell:
A long time after the Lord had already granted me many of the favors I've mentioned and other very lofty ones, while I was in prayer one day, I suddenly found that, without knowing how, I had seemingly been put in hell. I understood that the Lord wanted me to see the place the devils had prepared there for me and which I merited because of my sins. This experience took place within the shortest space of time, but even were I to live for many years I think it would be impossible for me to forget it. The entrance it seems to me was similar to a very long and narrow alleyway, like an oven, low and dark and confined; the floor seemed to me to consist of dirty, muddy water emitting foul stench and swarming with putrid vermin. At the end of the alleyway a hole that looked like a small cupboard was hollowed out in the wall; there I found I was placed in a cramped condition. All of this was delightful to see in comparison with what I felt there. What I have described can hardly be exaggerated.

"What I felt, it seems to me, cannot even begin to be exaggerated; nor can it be understood. I experienced a fire in the soul that I don't know how I could describe. The bodily pains were so unbearable that though I had suffered excruciating ones in this life and according to what doctors say, the worst that can be suffered on earth for all my nerves were shrunken when I was paralyzed, plus many other sufferings of many kinds that I endured and even some as I said, caused by the devil, these were all nothing in comparison with the ones I experienced there. I saw furthermore that they would go on without end and without ever ceasing. This, however, was nothing next to the soul's agonizing: a constriction, a suffocation, an affliction so keenly felt and with such a despairing and tormenting unhappiness that I don't know how to word it strongly enough. To say the experience is as though the soul were continually being wrested from the body would be insufficient, for it would make you think somebody else is taking away the life, whereas here it is the soul itself that tears itself in pieces. The fact is that I don't know how to give a sufficiently powerful description of that interior fire and that despair, coming in addition to such extreme torments and pains. I didn't see who inflicted them on me, but, as it seemed to me, I felt myself burning and crumbling; and I repeat the worst was that interior fire and despair.

"Being in such an unwholesome place, so unable to hope for any consolation, I found it impossible either to sit down or to lie down, nor was there any room, even though they put me in this kind of hole made in the wall. Those walls, which were terrifying to see, closed in on themselves and suffocated everything. There was no light, but all was enveloped in the blackest darkness. I don't understand how this could be, that everything painful to see was visible."

46] And if thy eye scandalize thee, pluck it out. It is better for thee with one eye to enter into the kingdom of God, than having two eyes to be cast into the hell of fire: [47] Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not extinguished. -Mark 9: 46-47 (Douay Rheims Catholic Bible)

Does God suffer with them in Hell as he suffers on earth when we sin?

    Comment:

St.Teresa of Avila tells us that God is present in our innermost being. There is the Interior Castle. The Kingdom of God is within us.
Is God also present in those people who suffer in Hell ? Does God suffer with them as he suffers on earth when we sin?

    About Fr. Jose Antonio Fortea

Trained by Vatican exorcist Gabriele Amorth, Father José Antonio Fortea is not only an exorcist, but also a writer, calligrapher and parish priest. He once thought he would lead what he has termed ordinary life as an attorney in Madrid, much as his father did before him, but sensed instead a vocation to the priesthood in his adolescent years. A theology graduate of Navarre University in Spain, Father Fortea wrote a thesis there on exorcism. He has been a practicing exorcist for several decades.

Perhaps due to obedience good Catholics will not say that the SSPX and the Letter of the Holy Office made an objective mistake

Here are links to good Catholics who will not say that the SSPX and the Letter of the Holy Office made an objective mistake.Perhaps, this is due to some form of obedience.
They will not answer questions which show that the cardinal who issued the Letter of the Holy Office had assumed there were EXCEPTIONS, to the interpretation of Fr.Leonard Feeney. If there were exceptions for him, then he was implying that he could see the dead-saved with implicit
    desire or in invincible ignorance.
Numerous Catholics out of obedience repeat the same irrationality.

How is the Good Thief on the Cross, the patriarchs and prophets VISIBLE to you ? They are not VISIBLE on earth to me

Monsgr. Gherardini interprets NA 2, UR 3 ( imperfect communion with the Church) etc as referring to VISIBLE cases.Obviously Vatican Council II will be non traditional and heretical

How can the dead be exceptions to Fr.Leonard Feeney ?

You seriously need to reconsider your understanding of Tradition because what you appear to think it means is profoundly erroneous. Here is a useful article to start you off: http://archives.sspx.org/miscellaneous/true_notion_of_tradition.htm

Holy Father genuflected at the consecration yesterday

From where I was standing at Holy Mass yesterday evening outside  the Basiilica of St.John Lateran I could not see Pope Francis offering Holy Mass.
However before the Mass, the booklet which was distributed, with the liturgical prayers and processional hymns, specifically says that the pope will genuflect during the consecration.

It states in red type and in italics:
Il Santo  Padre presenta al popolo l'ostia consacrata e genuflette in adorazione.
(The Holy Father presents to the people  the consecrated host and genuflects in adoration)

The Corpus Christi procession was beautiful. It was a great joy seeing all those religious there.
I held my 'strategic' position, the same one, as in the years past. It allows me to walk with Jesus in the Eucharist, along side, with Him, from St.John Lateran upto St.Mary Majors.I was there two hours before the Mass started. The same as the years past.

    Joey Lomangino has passed away

    June 18,2014 - Joey Lomangino
53 years ago today, St. Michael the Arch Angel appeared in Garabandal. Today unfortunately, this is not as happy an occasion. It is with a broken heart, and the immense sadness that I regretfully announce the passing away of Joey Lomangino. I have confirmed this story with family, friends and Conchita.
As I am still in shock, I will have nothing more to say at this time, other than referring to a prophecy and the bible. On December 6, 1962,Conchi...ta had a 90 minute ecstasy around 5:30 in the afternoon after which, she provided two more pieces of information regarding the Miracle: 1) One day, before the Miracle, something will happen that will cause many people to stop believing in the apparitions of Garabandal. The doubts and desertions will not be due to an excessive delay of the Miracle.
I cannot answer if Joey had the same experience of seeing the Miracle as Padre Pio did, just prior to his death, or with his new heavenly eyes, only God knows.
I thank God for the priviledge of knowing Joey, and working side by side with him.I still believe in the prophecies of the Warning, Miracle, and Chastisement. I ask you all to pray for Joey.
"For My thoughts are not your thoughts nor your ways My ways. For as the heavens are exalted above the earth, so are My ways exalted above your ways, and My thoughts above your thoughts." (Is. 55: 8-9)
