The Wonders of Creation
On October 30th, Mr. Hugh Owen of The Kolbe Center for the Study of Creation visited IHM. In a three-hour presentation to the Upper School, Mr. Owen showed the students and faculty of IHM how God's creation is supported by Catholic doctrine, and how the natural sciences refute evolutionary claims. We are most grateful for Mr. Owen's willingness to visit our school, and for his amazing presentation.

Sister Mary Joseph’s Puzzle Corner
When do you go on red and stop on green?
The Solution to Last Month's Puzzle:
Q. Out West, there's a single- track railroad that goes through Old Baldy Mountain. Inside the mountain, the tunnel is only wide enough for one train. At exactlytwo o'clock one day, two trains entered the tunnel from opposite directions. Five minutes later each train came out of the opposite entrance of the tunnel. Neither train was damaged in any way. Now how on earth was this possible?
A. One train passed through at 2 a.m. the other at 2 p.m. |

Thanksgiving Night Skits
Several times a year the students, parents and religious perform skits, plays and musical numbers on our stage. Our Thanksgiving program is a longstanding tradition in honor of the feast days of our founders’ patron saints: St. Leonard (Fr. Leonard’s patron) and St. Catherine of Alexandria (Sister Catherine’s patron).
