Boston Ecclesiastical Hierarchy had not lifted the excommunication of Fr.Leonard Feeney during Vatican Council II - where they were active

The Boston Ecclesiastical Hierarchy had not lifted the excommunication of Fr.Leonard Feeney  during Vatican Council II - where they were active. So they allowed irrelevant phrases to be inserted in the Council. This had to be passed since they cited the excommunication as a source. The popes had still not corrected the error of the Letter of the Holy Office 1949 .

Even until today  Catholics believe that being saved with the baptism of desire and in invincible ignorance ( and without the baptism of water)  are exceptions to the literal and traditional interpretation of Fr.Leonard Feeney.During Vatican Council II this was the predominant thinking. The cardinals and bishops assumed there was known salvation outside the Church.Every  one did not need to convert was at least the position of Cardinal Richard Cushing and the Jesuits.
Pope John XXIII and Pope Paul VI were not aware of the error. Even if they were aware  of it, they were not going to say in public that all need to convert into the Church with no exceptions. Pope Pius XII could not say it during his life time.He let the excommunication of Fr.Leonard Feeney remain.

So the Boston Ecclesiatical hierarchy maintained the  excommunication against Fr.Leonard Feeney  even though what the priest believed was traditional and they did not know of any exceptions i.e someone saved without the baptism of water.
For some 19- plus years  they did not lift the excommunication and inserted confusion into Vatican Council II.

Even Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre and the sedevacantists fell for the ruse. They assumed that there were visible exceptions to the teaching of Cantate Dominio, Council of Florence 1441 on extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

The 'Feeneyites' kept reminding them about the truth. The SSPX bishops and their supporters  would still insist that the baptisms of desire and blood were exceptions. In other words they knew of cases saved as such and without the baptism of water.Talk to an SSPX priest and he will confirm this irrationality. The dead are visible he will infer and these dead are exceptions to 'Feeneyism'.
There is so much of criticism of Vatican Council II by traditionalists and sedevacantists but it is never mentioned that the Boston hierarchy from 1949 -1965  were responsible for changing salvation theology in the Catholic Church . They inserted phrases in Vatican Council II  like 'made known by the Church's preaching'(AG 7), 'who though aware'(AG 7), 'those inculpably ignorant of the Gospel'(AG 7). These phrases come to us from the 1949 inference that salvation in Heaven is physically visible to us on earth.

Once a traditionalist or sedevacantist today  has an insight into  all this, Vatican Council II can open up for him in a new way. It would be traditionalist.
It must be clear to him that 'made known by the Church's preaching'(AG 7), 'who though aware'(AG 7), 'those inculpably ignorant of the Gospel'(AG 7) are not known to us.They are known only to God.  So they cannot be exceptions ( or relevant) to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.Neither are they exceptions to the orthodox passages  in Ad Gentes 7 ( all need faith and baptism for salvation).

Vatican Council II then does not contradict itself or Tradition. There is nothing in Vatican Council II to contradict Fr.Leonard Feeney's  interpretation of the dogma. We can neutralise the confusion created by the Archbishop and Jesuits of Boston.
