They need mortal sin to be misrepresented to claim “invincibly ignorant” are saved in the millions ,similar to extra ecclesiam nulla salus?

  • Lionel,
I suspect they need mortal sin to be misrepresented that way in order to be able to claim “invincibly ignorant” are saved in the millions.

" Go ye therefore and teach all nations......etc"

But as time goes by:

A) This command expires after a uncertain amount of time.

B) After an uncertain amount of time people can be left alone without the need for conversion or being told that the Catholic Church is the One and only One true Church to which all must belong.

C) After an uncertain amount of time people can choose baptism of desire or Blood as their salvation option.

D) After an uncertain amount of time good ole boys and girls need not be bothered with Catholics teaching them about the necessity of joining the Catholic Church as they will work things out just fine not to mention their salvation.

E) After an uncertain amount of time Baptism of Desire can be recognized with them there new 3S glasses so for Heavens sake let us dilute the necessity of being Catholic to a meaningless command for Salvation.

F) After an uncertain amount of time let us be forgiving and merciful to any and all perversions, lifestyles, atheism and whatever else but all means obstruct, ridicule and suppress anyone with traditional beliefs especially the quotation of decrees and the Saints.

G) After an uncertain amount of time let us undue the command of Pope Pius V NEVER to change or modify the Mass. That expired!

H) After an uncertain amount of time invincible ignorance is promoted as a great option as detailed in the best selling Catholic publication, 'Salvation for dummies'

I) After a certain amount of time there is no need to fight or defend our faith and love and pass the collection basket.
