I knew Nancy and Patrick well. I was in Medugorje for about three months. I went there twice, in 1994 and 1995.
I was with them for a week at the Domus Pacis House in Medugorje where Fr.Slavko Barbaric OFM conducted the retreat.It was a week of fasting on ony bread and water.
Otherwise I would meet them on and off at the Church,their house or a prayer meeting.
Nancy's family is Croatian and Patrick's origins are Irish.
It was a great joy to have stumbled on this video.I remember them as an extraordinary couple.I met them at a time when I was a liberal in theology and in the faith. I was into Eastern meditation.I was a teacher of Transcendental Meditation (TM) of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.No more after Medugorje.

It is unfortunater that Fr.Gabriel Mejia is using the Transcendental Meditation and the Advanced TM Sidhis program in the rehabilitation of Colombian children living on the streets.He could have used a silence technique with Catholic contemplation and have results he seeks.
Transcendental Meditation uses mantras associated with the Evil One.It opens the consciousness to entities that are not Catholic.
The 'scientific research' does not mention the negative physiological and pscychological effects of TM.They simply refer to it as 'stress'.If the meditator feels hostile or depressed it is considered as nothing but some 'stress release'.
I think a Catholic priest should not use Transcendental Meditation.
