Whoever is saved by God is linked to the Church but do all need to be Catholic to be saved in 2014 ? Yes!

This Pontifical document promotes a theology of religions by not affirming that non Catholics need to convert for salvation. Their religions are not paths to salvation.( CDF, Notification on Fr.Jacques Dupuis S.J . 2001)

“Whoever is saved by God is without doubt linked to, and in relationship with, the church' of course, but the controversial issue for the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue, which they have neglected again, is, 'do all people need to be Catholic to be saved in 2014'?
According to Vatican Council II the answer is a clear, YES.

All need 'faith and baptism' (Ad Gentes 7). Extra ecclesiam nulla salus.( Council of Florence 1441, Catechism of the  Pope Pius X ,Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC 846, AG 7)etc.

“Whoever is saved by God is without doubt linked to, and in relationship with, the church, although at times not in an outwardly apparent manner,” says the document  “Dialogue in Truth and Charity: Pastoral Orientations for Interreligious Dialogue” published on May 19,2014 by the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue,Vatican.

'although at times not in an outwardly apparent manner', why does this have to be mentioned by  Cardinal Jean-Louis Pierre Tauran, the Prefect of this Pontifical Council ? We do not know of any such case in 2014. As a possibility known only to God a person could be saved outside the Church but we do not know of any such case.De facto there is no known case. So this hypothetical case is not an exception to extra ecclesiam nulla salus or to Ad Gentes 7.Cardinal Tauran does not know of any one in 2014  saved outside the visible boundaries of the Church or who is going to be saved as such and so does not need to convert into the Catholic Church with 'faith and baptism'.

' and because the Holy Spirit is at work in the world and in the hearts of men and women, even beyond her (the church’s) visible boundaries' the document mentions.Dominus Iesus says that other religions have deficiences, errors and superstition. This cannot be the work of the Holy Spirit. Even when the Holy Spirit is present among non Catholics they need to convert into the Catholic Church for salvation (Dominus Iesus 20, AG 7, CCC 846 etc). The document does not affirm  this traditional teaching, on salvation and other religions, which is  affirmed by Vatican  Council II.
From what is said and omitted it is clear that Cardinal Tauran is interpreting all magisterial documents with the inference of being able to see the dead-saved who are exceptions to the traditional teaching on salvation.Without the inference, the dead man walking and visible premise, the ecclesiology of Vatican Council II would be traditional.

This Pontifical document promotes a theology of religions by not affirming that non Catholics need to convert for salvation. Their religions are not paths to salvation.( CDF,Notification on Fr.Jacques Dupuis S.J 2001).

The document approves praying together with others in certain circumstances. This will be the exception to the rule. This  will be the green light  needed by liberals for joint prayers. It will be another important  milestone in the Vatican's support for the one world religion lobby.
