Booklet by Daphne McLeod omits important Church teaching

A booklet prepared for Catholic children by Daphne Mcleod and Frederick Taylor quotes Lumen Gentium and so briefly refers to Vatican Council II. However it does not state that Ad Gentes 7 says all need faith and baptism for salvation. Ad Gentes 7 is in accord with the traditional teaching on salvation and other religions. This is not mentioned in the booklet which has an imprimatur.

It is not stated that the Catholic Church in Vatican Council II (AG 7) indicates all Hindus,Buddhists, Jews, Muslims etc in England, and the rest of the world ,are on the way to Hell unless they convert with Catholic Faith and the baptism of water. Neither does it state that Protestants, need Catholic Faith ,which includes the Sacraments and the faith and moral teachings of the Catholic Church, to go to Heaven and avoid Hell.
This is a fundamental teaching of the Catholic Church which was left out in the booklet.-Lionel Andrades
