Will Archbishop Augustine Di Noia acknowledge he made an error?

Last year about this time Archbishop Augustine Di Noia appealed to the Society of St.Pius X (SSPX) to come to unity.(1)
The call to unity has changed with the SSPX acknowledging that there have been errors in its publications.
The same error has been made by Archbishop Di Noia in an interview with the National Catholic Register.
If Archbishop Di Noia acknowledges the error it will mean that he understands that Vatican Council II is in agreement with the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. So the Council's teaching on other religions and ecumenism is still traditional.
For the sake of unity will he acknowledge the error he made in the interview with Edward Pentin ?.
If Ecclesia Dei and the SSPX can agree at a meeting that there are no exceptions to extra ecclesiam nulla salus mentioned in Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church it  would be an important move for unity.
