TWO STANDARDS IN BOSTON

Regarding the doctrinal aspects of Medugorje which the Papal Nuncio to the USA said is under investigation it must be noted that  there is also the doctrinal issue of the Dean of Theology at the University of the Holy Cross, assuming, like Archbishop Gerhard Muller that there are known exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus and so Vatican Council II is a break with the past.

 

This was the error at the Vatican-SSPX doctrinal talks at which a priest of Opus Dei also participated.

It is with this irrational interpretation of being able to see the dead who are known exceptions to the dogma on exclusive salvation, that Cardinal Sean O Malley, the Archbishop of Boston conducts ecumenism and interreligious meetings. He has never been under doctrinal investigation as is the Medugorje seer in Boston, Ivan  Dragičević.

 

At the St. Richard Church in Danvers, Massachusetts, where Ivan Dragicevic was to speak, they do not affirm a defined dogma  and re-interpret the Nicene Creed, believing "I believe in three known baptisms for the forgiveness of sin, water, blood and desire". This is common in Boston. I have been in correspondence with churches there. They all assume that it is a doctrine of the church to be able to see the dead who are exceptions to all needing to convert into the church in the present times.

This may seem hilarious to some but they are very serious about this in Massachusetts.

 

The papal nuncio, Carlo Maria Viganò and Monsignor Ronny Jenkins, general secretary of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops have never disproved this commone 'phenomenon' in the USA.

 

For Boston College, the Letter of the Holy Office 1949, condemned Fr. Leonard Feeney, since he refused to admit there was known phenomena in Boston which contradicted the traditional teaching.
