Father Pedro Luis de Huidobro, the chaplain of the University of the Sacred Cross(Santa Croce), Rome agreed there could be persons who have not had the Gospel preached to them and who are in invincible ignorance. These persons can be saved and we do not know any such case in 2013.
However this is not being affirmed by the Dean of the Department of Theology of this Opus Dei university,Mons. Angel Rodrigues Luno.
Also Fr.Francesco Giordano had been allowed to work for his doctorate on the issue of outside the Church there is no salvation, along with a contradiction of Fr. Pedro Luis de Huidobro.
So there are now two positions on this issue. One is rational and the other is irrational.
