HE IS WILLING TO SETTLE FOR LESS

There can be only one rational interpretation of Vatican Council II. There can be only one rational hermeneutic.
There is only one possibility. There is only one rational option. In only one choice, faith and reason sync.
Ad Gentes 7 says all need to convert into the Church for salvation in the present times (2013).Lumen Gentium 14 has the same message.
LG 16 etc are not exceptions since we cannot see the dead in 2013.This is not a  rational interpretation available for Vatican Council II.
If one says LG 16 is a visible exception to AG 7 and LG 14 then it is saying we can see the dead saved who are now in Heaven. This is not a rational option for an interpretation.
If we could see the dead in Heaven in 2013 then there could be a hermeneutic of rupture. Vatican Council II would be a break with the Syllabus of Errors and the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. Then Vatican Council II would be 'ambigous' or with 'extreme tendencies'.
So when Cardinal Kurt Koch says the interpretation of Vatican Council II leads to 'extreme tendencies' he is using an irrational interpretation. He could be hoping that naive traditonalists and sedevacantists settle for less. After all, Vatican Council II can only be traditional.
