Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith cannot fault the Society of St.Pius X for 'rejecting Vatican Council II'

The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith,Vatican cannot fault the Society of St.Pius X (SSPX) for 'rejecting Vatican Council II' since the SSPX accepts the Council as a historical reality but only rejects an interpretation of the Council with the dead-man-walking premise. This makes the Council modernist.

If the CDF clarifies the issue of the dead man  premise being used, the SSPX could accept Vatican Council II - and then the Paulist Fathers in Rome would reject it.

Recently Bishop Charles Morerod  prohibited the SSPX from offering Mass in the churches in his diocese in Switzerland since for him the issue was 'doctrinal.' He wants the SSPX to accept that there is known salvation outside the Church. The dead are visible walking on the streets of Swtzerland, saved in invincible ignorance, the seeds of the word, imperfect communion with the church etc. Invisible cases are visible to him. Salvation in Heaven is visible to him on earth. These cases are exceptions to the traditional teaching on other religions and Christian communities.

So for him, when the SSPX is ready to acknowledge that Lumen Gentium 16 (invincible ignorance) is an exception to Ad Gentes 7 (all need faith and baptism for salvation) then it will be doctrinally correct. Bishop Morerod is the former Rector of the Angelicum University,Rome  where this irrationality is still being taught. With this irrationality the SSPX is sure to  get access to the Churches in Switzerland, to offer Mass.

If the CDF faults the SSPX it will be for political reasons. It will be for not rubber stamping an interpretation of the Council which says that the dead saved and now in Heaven are generally visible to us on earth. This is the irrationality they want the priests of the SSPX to accept before they offer Mass.

The CDF should be correcting Bishop Charles Morerod and the bishop of Calgary, Bishop Frederick Henry who assume that the dead are visible and so the Catechism and Vatican Council II contradict the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus and Ad Gentes 7.They both are publicly critical of the Society of St.Pius X .-Lionel Andrades
