BISHOP RICHARD WILLIAMSON RESPONDS TO THE TWO QUESTIONS : EXCLUSIVE

I have just received the following e-mail from his Excellency Bishop Richard Williamson however he does not directly answer the two questions.

He has said that the 1.' The Church holds the doctrine of Baptism of Desire.' This is true and it is not being denied. However the Church does not say that the baptism of desire is explicit for us instead of implicit. We accept an implicit baptism of desire along with the literal interpretation of extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

Then he states:'2. What we know or do not know is not the same as what exists or does not exist.' This is a hypothetical, abstract statement and not a response to the question.

Subject: Two questions for His Excellency Bishop Richard Williamson from Mr.Lionel Andrades in Rome Sept.1,2012

To the Most Rev.Bishop Richard Williamson,

Dear Bishop Williamson,

I have been asking many religious the following two questions and I hope you would also kindly answer them.

1) Do we personally know the dead saved in invincible ignorance, a good conscience (LG 16) etc ?

2) Since we do not know any of these cases, there are no known exceptions to the literal interpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus ?

In Christ

Lionel Andrades
Catholic Layman in Rome

Edward Pentin would have to be wary

I have been asking two simple questions. So many good Catholics are refusing to answer them.I usually have to keep coming back to the questions, as all sorts of reasons are given to avoid direct answers.

Here are the two questions and some possible responses.
1. Do we know in the year 2012 any one saved in invincible ignorance, the baptism of desire, a good conscience (Lumen Gentium), seeds of the word (Ad Gentes), imperfect communion with the Church (Unitatis Redintigratio)?
ANSWER: No we do not know any one. They are not visible to us. We cannot see them or meet them.

2. If we do not know any of these cases in 2012 can they be considered exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus (1) and the Syllabus of Errors?
ANSWER: They cannot be considered exceptions to the dogma which says all need to convert for salvation. They are not exceptions since they are not explicit. They are not known to us.-Lionel Andrades

POSSIBLE RESPONSE

Edward Pentin however would have to be wary. This is how the conversation could proceed with some possible responses.

1. Do we know in the year 2012 any one saved in invincible ignorance, the baptism of desire, a good conscience(Lumen Gentium), seeds of the word (Ad Gentes), imperfect communion with the Church(Unitatis Redintigratio) ?

A) Yes we know such cases.
B) No we do not know such cases.

The response to (A) could be with a question:

You say that we know such cases, can you name some of them on earth in 2012 ?

2. If we do not know any of these cases in 2012 can they be considered exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus and the Syllabus of Errors?

If the answer is 'Yes they can be considered exceptions' then the question is 'How can they be considered exceptions?'

Possible response of the person being asked:
They are exceptions since t
he Letter of the Holy Office 1949 said the baptism of desire was an exception and so Fr. Leonard Feeney was excommunicated.

Response: Then does it mean that the cardinal who issued the Letter made an objective mistake ? We do not know any one saved with the baptism of desire or in invincible ignorance in our present times. This is a fact.So did he make a factual mistake ?

Edward Pentin could break the extra ecclesiam nulla salus story world wide

Edward Pentin could break the extra ecclesiam nulla salus story world wide

From the news point of view it would be a sensation.

The excommunication of Fr.Leonard Feeney was not lifted for 19 years when the baptism of desire is not an exception to the literal interpretation of the dogma.

He held the traditional interpretation and his priestly faculties were taken away. The Jesuits also dismissed him.

The popes from Pius XII to Benedict XVI may not have known that the baptism of desire and being saved in invincible ignorance are irrelevant to the dogma. It could have been a simple oversight.

Edward Pentin seems to understand the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus unlike other Catholic journalists. In his next interview he could be poised for a sensation.

Even though in his last two interviews with Archbishop Gerhard Muller and Augustine Di Noia he let them get away, the right questions, could be asked in future interviews.

When the following two questions are asked, extra ecclesiam nulla salus could become international news.

1. Do we know in the year 2012 any one saved in invincible ignorance, the baptism of desire, a good conscience(Lumen Gentium), seeds of the word (Ad Gentes), imperfect communion with the Church(Unitatis Redintigratio) ?

2. If we do not know any of these cases in 2012 can they be considered exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus and the Syllabus of Errors?

Pontifical Universities and seminaries world wide will have to adapt and change their teachings. The Vatican Curia will have to reinterpret Vatican Council II.

The Vatican Jesuit spokesman would have to announce the obvious: "We cannot see the dead on earth who are saved. So there are no known exceptions to the dogma and Ad Gentes 7 Vatican Council II, which says all need 'faith and baptism' for salvation'.

Vatican Council II would be traditional and the Society of St.Pius X (SSPX) could accept it. They could be given an ordinariate like the Opus Dei, who will also make changes in their teachings on Catholic salvation.

If Edward Pentin is fast enough he could do it this week. I have been sending him these blog posts for quite sometime.

This is Jesus' Church in which truth has a way of equilibrating itself. Every time it is pushed down, it comes up to the surface and asserts itself.

EDWARD PENTIN DID NOT ASK ARCHBISHOPS MULLER AND DI NOI HOW COULD INVINCIBLE IGNORANCE AND 'ELEMENTS OF GRACE' BE EXCEPTIONS TO EXTRA ECCLESIAM NULLA SALUS

Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre did not know the reason why Vatican Council II was modernist. It was there before him but he could not see it.

BOTH ARCHBISHOPS MULLER AND DI NOIA MADE A FACTUAL ERROR IN THEIR SEPARATE INTERVIEWS WITH THE NATIONAL CATHOLIC REGISTER

ARCHBISHOP GERHARD MULLER CHOOSES A HERETICAL INTERPRETATION OF LUMEN GENTIUM 14 WHICH IS A BREAK FROM TRADITION

ARCHBISHOP GERHARD MULLER ASSUMES THAT THE DEAD WHO ARE SAVED ARE VISIBLE ON EARTH AND SO EVERY ONE DOES NOT NEED TO ENTER THE CHURCH:NCR interview

Archbishop Gerhard Muller indicates all Protestants at the Synod are on the way to Hell: Lumen Gentium 14, Vatican Council II

Archbishop Augustine Di Noia says the Holy Spirit preserves the Church from error including the interpretation of Vatican Council II- we now know there are two interpretations of Vatican Council II, which one is guided by the Holy Spirit ?

ARCHBISHOP AUGUSTINE DI NOIA MADE A FACTUAL ERROR IN THE ITC PAPER CHRISTIANITY AND THE WORLD RELIGIONS 1997

IS THE HOLY SPIRIT SAYING LIKE ARCHBISHOP AUGUSTINE DI NOIA THAT LG 8, LG 16 ARE EXPLICITLY KNOWN AND ARE EXCEPTIONS TO THE DOGMA?
