Archbishop Gerhard Muller told The Catholic Herald that the SSPX 'must accept the fullness of the Catholic faith and its practice'.
The Legion of Christ ,Sant Egidio and the Paulist Fathers like so many other progressive groups also do not accept the fullness of the Catholic faith, they are unable to interpret Vatican Council II without the dead-saved-are-visble-to-us premise and so they are also unable to affirm that there are two interpretations of the Catechism of the Catholic Church.There is a rational one and a non rational one. The non rational interpretation of the Catechism of the Catholic Church is not part of the 'fulness of the Catholic faith and its practice'.
The Legion of Christ will not answer if the dead are visible to them(1) or if there can be two interèpretations of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. The Paulist Fathers at the Church of Santa Susanna Rome (see photo), reject the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus and the Syllabus of Errors. They interpret Vatican Council II with the irrational premise of being able to see the dead who are saved. Then they assume that these cases of the deceased-visible are exceptions to the thrice defined dogma. Is this the fullness of the Catholif Faith or is this familiar heresy?
The Sant Egidio community in Rome also interprets the catechism of the Catholic Church and Vatican Council II with the irrational premise of the deceased are alive.This influences their theological understanding of Vatican Council II. This irrationality is being maintained by the bishops associated with Sant Egidio as well as their liberal founder Andrea Riccardi.
When they interpret the Council as a break from the past is this not a theological error for Archbisop Muller?.
They will also say that they accept Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church and that they accept the Magisterium of the Church. Yet they mean that the dead are visible and are defacto exceptions to extra ecclesiam nulla salus and the Syllabus of Errors.So for them,like also for the SSPX, Vatican Council contradicts also the teaching on the Social Reign of Jesus.
