MEDUGORJE BANS BOOK IN WHICH JESUS SAYS CHURCH IS NEGLECTING MISSION AND PROCLAIMING THE GOSPEL TO PROTECT ITS PROPERTY AND INTERESTS

Charles Whitehead had a personal copy of this book before it was prohibited. The Conference of Italian Bishops however has approved it for reading.
 Charles Whitehead is expected here. He has been a former President of ICRSS (International Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services) approved by the Vatican. I was fortunate to read his copy in English of The Poem of the Man God by Maria Valtorta. He left the five volumes with a mutual friend.He had been to Medugorje and recommended the pilgrimage to others.There was also a booklet of some of the messages to Maria Valtorta which were supplementary to the book, or were included in the original book.

In this booklet Jesus expresses strong feelings, on the lack of mission and  proclamation of the Gospel since every one seems to be protecting their own interest. The Church does not want to lose its property. Religious and lay people want to protect their lifestyle.

Charles Whitehead had a copy of this book since Our Lady at Medugorje had recommended it to one of the visionaries.He went to Medugorje during the early days of the apparitions.  When I went to Medugorje in the mid 90's the book was still popular and on the ‘approved’ list.

The book is prohibited at Medugorje. The theme outside the Church there is no salvation must have been difficult for the 'censors’. A Medugorje spokesman claims Our Lady never recommended this book to Marija one of the visionaries.

The Charismatic Renewal, does not do mission with the dogma outside the Catholic Church there is no salvation. Instead it believes that Orthodox Christians, Protestants and Pentecostals are saved since they believe in Jesus. This includes ICRSS and the Charismatic Renewal movement at the University of Steubenville,USA and, some of the apologist-converts.

The dogma Cantate Domino, Council of Florence and Vatican Council II (LG 14, AG 7) indicate they are all lost to Hell unless they convert into the Church- and that it is not enough just to believe in Jesus.A  Catholic’s  moral life can prevent him from going to Heaven.There are also mortal sins of faith e.g heresy, apostasy.

It is not enough just to believe in Jesus one also has to act according to the  Will of God.The will of God is that everyone be united in the Catholic Church (CCC 845),

Our Lady at Medugorje could be asked by the visionaries for her comments on this issue. Her answer however could be blocked for public attention  as 'not appropriate'- not appropriate according to the present politically acceptable understanding of the Catholic Faith.- Lionel Andrades
