DOMINICAN PRIESTS-CONFESSORS AT ST.MARY MAJORS BASILICA ROME REJECT CATHOLIC FAITH: DISAPPOINTING SEARCH FOR A CONFESSOR TODAY MORNING

All of them say every Catholic must believe in an ex cathedra dogma and none of them believe in the ex cathedra dogma on salvation
Not a single Dominican priest-confessor at St. Mary Majors Basilica, Rome enquiries show are faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church. Today I spoke to two of them. Over the last two weeks I have spoken to most of them who are regular confessors at the Basilica.

I show them the text of the ex cathedra dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. I ask does the text say that everyone needs to be a visible, formal member of the Catholic Church with no exceptions to avoid Hell.

None of them will answer YES.

They say a non Catholic in invincible ignorance can be saved. Yet the text does not mention it.

They say that one can be saved with the Baptism of Desire (explicit). The text of the dogma, defined three times, does not say so. Neither is there any reference to a good conscience.

Today I spoke to Fr. Wojciech Morowski O.P and Fr. Joseph Tran O.P.

The Dominicans spend so much time giving me personal interpretations of Vatican Council II which they cannot support with any Church Document text.

If you can throw out the Church teachings on an ex cathedra dogma then I suppose you could do it also for abortion and other Church teachings. So some Catholics could wrongly ask why is there the need for Confession.

I was telling Fr. Joseph Tran that if I went to a Judge, in one of the secular courts, and asked him if this text says everyone needs to be a formal member of the Church, he would say “YES”. He would not tell me that Vatican Council II says this and that…

I also mentioned that one can believe in those with the Baptism of desire, invincible ignorance etc being saved (and known to God only) without having to accept his theology. Also his interpretation of Vatican Council II was that of the secular media and not the official teaching of the Church. I asked him to cite a Church Magisterial text to support his interpretation. He could not. Neither could the Polish Dominican priest.

I approached the two priests today asking for a priest who is faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church. Someone who accepts all the ex cathedra teachings. In particular the text of extra ecclesiam nulla salus which I showed them.

Fr. Joseph insisted that they were all faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church and I should not write that they were not. So did the Polish priest.

Here is the text of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. Pope Pius XII called it 'the dogma', 'the infallilble teaching' in the Letter of the Holy Office 1949 to the Archbishop of Boston relative to Fr.Leonard Feeney.

1. “There is but one universal Church of the faithful, outside which no one at all is saved.” (Pope Innocent III, Fourth Lateran Council, 1215). Ex cathedra.

2.“We declare, say, define, and pronounce that it is absolutely necessary for the salvation of every human creature to be subject to the Roman Pontiff.” (Pope Boniface VIII, the Bull Unam Sanctam, 1302.).Ex cathedra.

3.“The most Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes and preaches that none of those existing outside the Catholic Church, not only pagans, but also Jews and heretics and schismatics, can have a share in life eternal; but that they will go into the eternal fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels, unless before death they are joined with Her; and that so important is the unity of this ecclesiastical body that only those remaining within this unity can profit by the sacraments of the Church unto salvation, and they alone can receive an eternal recompense for their fasts, their almsgivings, their other works of Christian piety and the duties of a Christian soldier. No one, let his almsgiving be as great as it may, no one, even if he pour out his blood for the Name of Christ, can be saved, unless he remain within the bosom and the unity of the Catholic Church.” (Pope Eugene IV, the Bull Cantate Domino, 1441.)
