Its summertime again. At churches in Rome and at the Mass of the Neo Catechumenal, people will wear trousers or jeans, that are immodest.At the last Neo Catechumenal Mass I attended, two weeks back, one of the cantors was wearing tight jeans. I thought the lady looked vulgar before the Eucharist.She then stood up to receive the Eucharist in her palm and then sat down as the priest moved to the next person who did the same.
We all waited with the Eucharist placed on the palm of our hand. Then together consumed it.
She did likewise.
These days it is fashionable to wear clothing that emphasizes the genital area-men and women.
So it is common among the Neo Catechumenal in Rome, some of them, to wear such clothing for their Mass. The priest will still given them the Body and Blood of Our Lord in both species.
