DOMINICAN PRIEST AT ST.MARY MAJORS SAYS CARDINAL BERNARD LAW’S MASS IS A SACRILEGE

A Dominican priest who regularly hears Confession at the papal basilica of St. Mary Majors in Rome yesterday confirmed that the Mass of the Archpriest there would be a sacrilege.

Father Magyaral Slovensky Cesky O.P yesterday evening(Feb.8,2010) said that it was obligatory for the cardinal to affirm all ex cathedra dogmas of the Catholic Church, including extra ecclesiam nulla salus (outside the Church there is no salvation).

Fr. Magyar Cesky O.P has his name written on the Confessional at St. Mary Majors. Also the languages in which he can hear Confession are mentioned. I did not speak to him as in Confession but went up, knocked on the window and then face to face had a conversation with him. I recorded our conversation with my digital camera.

Fr. Cesky is the second priest at St. Mary Majors with the same message. Father Silvistrini Emilio who celebrates Holy Mass at St. Mary Majors said it was obligatory for all to affirm an ex cathedra dogma. He said that if a Catholic did not have the Faith, to affirm the dogma, then he should not receive or be given the Holy Eucharist.

Enquiries at the sacristy yesterday indicated there is to be no reply from the cardinal to the posts on this blog.

1. Here is the ex cathedra dogma :
THE EX CATHEDRA DOGMA EXTRA ECCLESIAM NULLA SALUS

• “There is but one universal Church of the faithful, outside which no one at all is saved.” (Pope Innocent III, Fourth Lateran Council, 1215.)

• “We declare, say, define, and pronounce that it is absolutely necessary for the salvation of every human creature to be subject to the Roman Pontiff.” (Pope Boniface VIII, the Bull Unam Sanctam, 1302.)

• “The most Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes and preaches that none of those existing outside the Catholic Church, not only pagans, but also Jews and heretics and schismatics, can have a share in life eternal; but that they will go into the eternal fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels, unless before death they are joined with Her; and that so important is the unity of this ecclesiastical body that only those remaining within this unity can profit by the sacraments of the Church unto salvation, and they alone can receive an eternal recompense for their fasts, their almsgivings, their other works of Christian piety and the duties of a Christian soldier. No one let his almsgiving be as great as it may, no one, even if he pour out his blood for the Name of Christ, can be saved, unless he remain within the bosom and the unity of the Catholic Church.” (Pope Eugene IV, the Bull Cantate Domino, 1441.)- from the website Catholicism.org and “No Salvation outside the Church”: Link List, the Three Dogmatic Statements Regarding EENS): http://nosalvationoutsideofthecatholicchurch.blogspot.com/
2. There is no text in Vatican Council II which negates or contradicts the dogma extra eccleisam nulla salus which Pope Pius XII called an ‘infallible teaching’.
There is no text in Vatican Council II which says de facto those in invincible ignorance, or with the baptism of desire or a good conscience do not have to convert into the Catholic Church for salvation.
Pope Pius XII called this dogma an ‘infallible teaching’.

No where in Vatican Council II is it said that
1.de facto non Catholics can be saved in general in their religion,
2. their religions are paths to salvation,
3. their religions are the ordinary means of salvation,
4.or all non Catholics are saved with implicit faith in general in their religion.
There is no text in Vatican Council II which says the baptism of desire, a good conscience or invincible ignorance is
1. the ordinary means of salvation,
2. a reference to de facto instead of de jure salvation,
3.it has to be interpreted as a break from Sacred Tradition,
4. we can judge specifically who has the baptism of desire, a good conscience or is in invincible ignorance,
5. or it is to be interpreted not as the Church Fathers, St. Thomas Aquinas and Pope Pius XII taught but as a new doctrine.
No where in Nostra Aetate, Vatican Council II is it said that Judaism, Islam, Christian communities and the Orthodox Church are the ordinary means of salvation. So all false interpretations of Vatican Council II are just interpretations. This includes those interpretations of the Council which do not agree with the ex cathedra dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

3.This dogma was never affirmed in public by Cardinal Bernard Law when he was the Archbishop of Boston (1984-2002). He is now the archpriest at the Basilica of St. Mary Majors in Rome (Tel: (+39) 06.698.86800 (+39) 06.698.86800 , fax (+39) 06.698.86817 E-mail: sagrestiasmm@org.va.
He needs to issue a clarification and stop the sacrilege and scandal.
The problem is : The Archpriest at Santa Maria Maggiore, Rome has not affirmed the ex cathedra dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus nor Vatican Council II, yet he celebrates Mass at the basilica. The Mass is a sacrilege. It is the repeated desecration of the Eucharist. A person in a mortal sin of faith is not to celebrate Holy Mass. Even though Jesus is present in the Eucharist it is a scandal and sin in public.
